Ron came to the USA via Canada in 1981. Over almost 35 years, has been involved with $520,000,000 (that is half a Billion "with a B") dollars. Number one goal has been to treat clients and prospects with respect, reverance, and honor.
He always enjoyed tennis and to a lesser degree golf. He is a good winner and an even better loser
I listed my condo for sale with Ron Barakett. Unit 108 in Building I 8217 Parkstone Place. We missed the peak selling season, so times were a bit slow at Vanderbilt Country Club. The "Bear" held numerable 'open houses' sometimes with very little traffic, but religiously kept hammering the open house. Finally went to contract, he negotiated the best terms, forcing buyer to make a better offer. We were about 30 days out from closing, when Ron spotted a terrible leak coming from a water heater 2 floors above. He had the EMS emergency crew in place within 30 minutes. I was away attending to business, but Ron attended to the details of restoration, air quality testing, and a beautiful clean up.Probably one of the toughest issues was keeping the buyer up to date, holding the buyer and his agents by the hand, showing photos of every step taken to protect his future purchase. We had a very successful closing, the new buyer was pleased as punch, I got my money.Anybody can place a listing in the MLS with a computer and a Real Estate license, but I don't know of any Realtors who carry the load as well as he did. I recommend him to youBill Miller
